New York City's mayor announces mandatory evacuations

The mayor of NewYorkCity ordered mandatory evacuations for portions of the city's coast after hearing word that weather man Jim Cantore was called to the area due to hurricane Irene.

    Although people were hurt, I'm certainly glad it didn't turn into another Hurricane Katrina situation.
